Aug 1:  In recent weeks, there are days that we estimate that scammers account for about 50%, or more, of new VietSingle profiles that claim to be from the US.  That's a lot of fake accounts!  It appears that scammers are currently targeting their victims in the US.  We urge you to Google the IP address shown on the VietSingle profile.  When you're suspicious, demand to talk to the person on the phone, on webcam, etc.   Scammers tend to have excuses and lies for everything.  Whatever you do, NEVER send them money.  Or else, you'll be scammed!

JULY 31: Some VietSingle users were being tricked by scammers and were not aware until they saw our website. After seeing our warning, they found the VietSingle profile IDs they’re chatting with, match with the ones on our suspected scammers list. They confronted the scammers. After that, the scammers deleted the fake VietSingle profiles or simply disappeared! 

July 22:  Most of the scammers' profiles were created within 6 months from the current date.  That's because when they're new profiles with a photo, the scammers get to email 3 Vietsingle users per day.  That's why scammers constantly create new profiles on VietSingle.  If you get an email from someone with a recently created profile, odds are high they're scammers!

NOTE:  We cannot disclose how we tricked these scammers into revealing that they're scammers, or else, they will know how to hide themselves from being identified!

In just one day on July 19, we found 16 VietSingle profiles created by scammers.  That's just in one day!

We've just been informed that there is now a group of scammers from Vietnam working with African scammers.  Some of their IP addresses are from Vietnam.  Be careful also when you're communicating with users who are fluent in Vietnamese!

African scammers are using "Google Translate" to write to you in Vietnamese and making you think you're communicating with a Vietnamese person.  To put a stop to this, take out all the signs and they won't be able to cheat anymore.  For example, if you write:  Bạn tên gì?  Google Translate will be able to translate it.  But if you write:  Ban ten gi, Google Translate cannot.  If the person is Vietnamese and not Google Translate , then he can understand it.   

Be careful of online scammers.  Many are con men from Nigeria, Europe, and other parts of Africa pretending to be Vietnamese women or men, or pretending to be someone else.  Daily, there are hundreds of scammers on the website listed below who try to scam you out of money.  There are now so many of them that we simply cannot list them all out.  They try to befriend you then trick you into sending them money.  They may give you a sad story about them or their parents having cancer and needing money  for medicine and hospital bills.  One Vietnamese victim informed us that that they were scammed out of almost $50,000 US dollars.  Another was tricked in a business deal and lost around $150,000 dollars.  It was obvious to these victims afterwards that there are Vietnamese masterminds behind these scams working with the African scammers.  They will give you excuses why they can't talk to you on the phone or why you can't see them on webcam.  Whatever you do, do not send them any money.  Or else, you wil be scammed!  The list below are profiles that we have flagged to be very suspicious!  We estimate there are THOUSANDS other profiles on the website that we haven't flagged.   Everday, we are seeing so many new profiles from scammers that have IP addresses from the US.  If you think that an IP address showing a US location is not from a scammer from Africa, Europe, etc., then you're mistaken!   One of your current online friends could already be a scammer and you're not aware of this yet!  Be careful of "caller ID spoofing" too.  So be very careful whenever you're online and warn others about online scammers!

Ngay 1 Thang 8:  May tuan nay, chung toi uoc luong la 50%, va co the nhieu hon, cua nhung profile moi noi la ho tu nuoc My, thuc ra la tu nhung dua lua bip o may nuoc khac.  Do la rat nhieu profile gia doi.  Tui lua bip dang nham vao nhung nguoi o My.  Cac ban nen Google nhung IP cua nhung nguoi tren VietSingle dang giao thiep voi cac ban.  Nen noi chuyen tren dien thoai, tren webcam.  Nhung dua lua bip nay rat gioi ve noi doi.  Dung bao gio gui tien cho ai sau khi noi chuyen qua VietSingle.

Ngay 31 Thang 7: Co mot so nguoi o tren VietSingle dang bi lua ma ho chua biet. Sau khi vo website cua chung toi va ho thay so ID cua nguoi ho dang giao thiep, giong so ID ma chung toi dang canh cao la bi nghi ngo dang lua bip. Ho mang chuyen nay ra cho may nguoi do biet. Sau do, nhung cai profile ID do bi xoa di luon, hoac may nguoi lua bip do bien mat luon!

22 Thang 7:  Thuong thuong thi nhung dua lua bip chi dung profile moi tao ra trong 6 thang vua qua.  Ly do la vi neu ho co profile moi o tren VietSingle, co hinh, thi ho duoc email cho 3 nguoi o VietSingle moi ngay.   Neu ban nhan duoc email cua ai ma co profile moi, thi su chac han nguoi do la nguoi lua bip thi rat la cao.

Chung toi khong co the cho biet la chung toi da lam cach nao de du nhung dua lua bip nay de biet chung no la nguoi lua bip.  

Chi trong mot ngay, ngay 19 thang 7, chung toi da kiem duoc 16 profile gia moi tao ra o tren VietSingle.  Do la chi trong 1 ngay thoi!

Chung toi moi duoc biet la bay gio co mot nhom lua bip tu Viet Nam dang hop tac voi nhom lua bip o Phi Chau.  Co mot so dia chi IP cua ho la tu Viet Nam.  Cac ban cung nen can than khi giao thiep voi nguoi ranh tieng Viet Nam!

Nhung dua lua bip tu Phi Chau dang dung "Google Translate" de thong dich ra tieng Vietnam de cho ban tuong ban dang giao thiep voi mot nguoi Vietnam.  Cach chong lai la ban viet nhung lay ra nhung cai dau.  Chi co nguoi that su la nguoi Vietnam moi hieu duoc.  "Google Translate" khong co the thong dich duoc neu ban lay cai dau ra.  Thay vi ban viet:  Bạn tên gì?  thi ban viet:  Ban ten gi.   

Cac ban coi chung bi lua!  Nhieu dua lua gat tu Phi Chau hoac Au Chau gia vo la nguoi Vietnam hoac gia vo la mot nguoc khac, va lam ban voi cac ban de du do ban gui tien cho ho.  Moi ngay, co hang tram nguoi lua gat vo website duoi day de kiem cach lua gat cac ban.  Vi co qua nhieu nguoi lua gat vo, chung toi khong co the dua danh sach ten cua ro ra het duoc. Nhung dua lua bip co the noi la ho bi binh ung thu va xin tien thuoc men cho ho hoac la cho cha me cua ho.  Co mot nguoi nan nhan Vietnam cho chung toi biet la ho da bi lua va mat gan $50,000 dollars.  Mot nguoi VN nua cho biet la da bi lua trong mot vu buon ban va mat khoang chung $150,000 dollars. Sau khi bi lua thi ho moi biet la co nguoi Vietnam dang giup do va lam chung voi nhung dua lua bip Phi Chau nay.  Ho khong noi chuyen tren dien thoai hoac khong mo webcam cho ban coi.  Dung bao gio gui tien cho ai tren mang.  Neu ban gui tien la ban se bi lua gat!  Duoi day la danh sach cua mot so profile dang nghi ngo cac ban nen can than neu ho lien lac voi cac ban.  Con nhieu profile nghi ngo khac ma chung toi chua duoc biet den.  Moi ngay, chung toi thay qua nhieu profile moi cua nhung nguoi lua gat tu Phi Chau, Au Chau, Pakistan, vv. ma ho co IP address voi so IP o My.  Neu cac ban nghi la IP address co so o My nghia la khong phai cua nhung nguoi lua bip tu Phi Chau, Au Chau, vv., thi cac ban lam roi!  Va co the la mot nguoi ban dang giao thiep tren mang bay gio la nguoi dang chuan bi lua gat ban ma ban chua biet den thoi!  Cac ban cung nen can than ve vu "caller ID spoofing".  Nen can than khi tren mang va bao cho moi nguoi biet ve nhung vu lua gat nay.
